A ROBBER coshed three women and an eight-year-old boy as he tried to snatch a handbag.

Two women - aged 61 and 33 - suffered head injuries and were detained in Monogram Mini Lin Handbags hospital after being ambushed at a bus stop in Aston, Birmingham.

The boy and another woman were hurt when they tried to help. A cop hunting the thug said: "Robberies with this level of violence are rare."
